When we first brought you “100 Women We Love,” we never dreamed that our roundup honoring out movers and shakers from around the globe would have resonated so strongly in the lesbian community. Since then, we’ve been overwhelmed by the outpouring of nominations from friends, colleagues and readers.
This year’s decisions were tough, but we’ve selected the entrepreneurs, artists, politicians and activists you need to know about (if you don’t already!). These out women show the world that they have the brains, the beauty, and, yes, the balls to step out of the box, stand up to the fight, and leave a mark upon humanity.
And now, in no particular order, we proudly present the Class of 2007.
