Elizabeth Dahmen
"There's no money in karaoke," jokes Dahmen, "so I made the shift to a cappella." NYC-based Dahmen, founder of the hilarious a cappella group The Lesbian Overtones, has been an out lesbian actor and comedian for over 10 years. "I've been in a lot of lesbian films. I'm all for type casting!" In addition to recent film work, Dahmen opened her solo show Teach A Girl to Fish at Dixon Place’s HOT! Festival and starred in the U.S. premiere of Ex-Antwone at P.S. 122 as part of the B.A.i.T. (Buenos Aires In Translation) Festival. When she’s not performing, Dahmen teaches visual art and puppetry to teens on the Upper East Side. –JK
