Chris Chappon
The “stubborn but passionate, indecisive but real, brutally honest and complex Italian lesbian,” Chappon’s been president of Girl4GIRL Productions, Inc., since 2004. The Seattle circuit matchmaking parties began as small get-togethers at private homes in 1998. Now, about 1,000 women attend. “It’s about all types of women seeking women in an exciting environment. The crowd’s interaction with one another is a key ingredient for event success,” says Chappon. This summer, Girl4GIRL, will give away vacation packages to longtime couples that met at the events. Chappon also plans yearly events to fundraise for a breast cancer foundation. –RD
