We loved Jane Lynch as attorney Joyce Wischnia on the L Word. But the role of Joyce is just one of many for this versatile actress who has been in the entertainment industry for over 20 years, playing a variety of characters, such as the lesbian dog trainer in the classic mockumentary Best In Show. Currently, she stars as the cheerleading coach on the new series Glee, which premiered on Fox in May and will be continued in the fall. Lynch says this diversity of roles has helped her know herself better. In an interview for Afterellen.com, Lynch said, “I am curious and I love all of human nature, and I know for a fact now that all of it lives in me.” -CM
