The Giants dashed the New England Patriots’ hopes for a perfect season by winning Super Bowl XLII. In a stunning last-minute play, Giants Quarterback Eli Manning completed a seemingly impossible pass into the arm (and onto the head) of David Tyree, who caught the ball against his helmet, setting up what would become the winning touchdown.
