Between parenting, running the Cupcake Connection bakery and contributing time to their community, Dawn and Alison are an exceedingly busy pair. But they manage it all with lighthearted humor and by juggling their responsibilities as a team. “With three boys and two dogs, our lives often revolve around football fields, basketball courts and dog parks. We are huge New York Liberty fans and season ticket holders. We also volunteer for a gay youth group and we are active in our church,” they explain. Their friend Jo was their matchmaker and, more than nine years later, they are life partners and great friends. “We enjoy doing things together. And when times have been tough, we’ve remembered to laugh. Also, it helps that we have our own closets.”
