Art-pop songstress Rachael Sage returns to Joe’s Pub Dec 22 with Tchatchkes & Latkes!, a holiday-themed edition of her latest musical mishugas, Sequins & Shpiel! Sage, who has shvitzed with the New York City Ballet, will weave songs from her eight-album discography with shpiels about her life as a former ballerina, adventures on the road and her family's extensive menorah collection. Expect a healthy mix of vaudevillian shtick, playful Yiddishkeit and Sage's pianistic flair with special guests, cellist Dave Eggar and singer/songwriter Michelle Citrin. All net proceeds benefit Hurricane Sandy relief.
