In a special one-night-only event, the country’s most hilarious health providers and health advocates take the stage for serious fun about a very serious subject in F*ck Your Health, Nov 15 at the Stonewall Inn. The cast of characters includes Jennifer Johnson, proprietor of the East Coast’s only private medical practice providing sexual health and gynecological services to the queer, transgender and genderqueer communities; Kelli Dunham, an award-winning stand-up comic and registered nurse; Jessica Halem, former Executive Director of the Lesbian Community Cancer Project in Chicago; and S. Leigh Thompson, a social justice artist, critical educator and self-described “raging queer.”
On Nov 30, prepare to laugh off all those Thanksgiving calories at It’s Her-larious, a new comedy show featuring the best female comedic performers in NYC. Expect zingers from Cara Kilduff (HERE! TV), Adrienne Iapalucci (Last Comic Standing), Mindy Raf (BUST Magazine), Amy Albert (Edinburgh Comedy Festival), and Irene Bremis (Gotham Comedy Club). Hosted by Amy Beckerman, known for her work with Dykes on Mics and Generosi-titties. Her-larious promises a hoot and a half.
