Your favorite mag (GO, of course) has organized star-studded events around the country that will help raise funds for and awareness of women’s cancers. The NYC kick-off benefits Callen-Lorde Community Health Center’s Lesbian Health Services, which provide gynecological services and comprehensive primary care focused on women’s health and comfort. Comedic diva Margaret Cho will introduce a performance by The Cliks, plus look out for guest appearances by cast members from Logo’s new series Exes & Ohs, including the show’s cre-ator/writer/executive producer Michelle Paradise.

The SAGE Women’s Dance, a longtime gem of the women’s community, begins a new dance season with the Fall Frolic on Oct 21 at the China Club. Don’t miss this “golden” opportunity to ring in Autumn with a bang!

Nov 5 at Capitale, the 7th Annual Callen-Lorde Community Health Awards honor the visionaries, heroes and trailblazers dedicated to the health and well-being of the LGBT communities. Callen-Lorde is dedicated to providing quality healthcare to all who visit the center, regardless of an individual's ability to pay. This year’s awards honor physician and philanthropist Alan Fard, MD, Executive Director Jay Laudato, and Callen-Lorde’s Non-Profit Finance Fund.
