Set for its fifth annual appearance, CINEKINK NYC Film Festival hits various Manhattan venues Feb 26–Mar 2. The “really alternative film festival” again presents a specially-curated program of films and videos that celebrate and explore the wide diversity of sexuality. The event also features a short film competition, audience choice awards, presentations, a gala kick-off party and a closing afterglow celebration. Highlights include Triple X Selects: The Best of Lezsploitation, an international feast of lezsploitation from the ‘60s and ‘70s in all of its notoriously twisted glory; Silken Sleeves, a journey through two women’s experiments with domination and submission; and Sex Mannequin, the story of a mannequin who comes alive to the kiss of her mistress, ready to serve—and to take—in a variety of kinky ways.

Logo’s The Big Gay Sketch Show returns for a second season starting Feb 5. Don’t miss this half-hour comedy show featuring original characters and satires of popular culture with a unique gay perspective, such as parodies of lesbian dating, I Love Lucy and The Facts of Life retold from a gay perspective. All eight episodes of season two feature celebrity guest appearances including stage legends Elaine Stritch and Christine Ebersole, as well as comedian Kate Clinton, Chastity Bono and Rosie O’Donnell.
