Stonewall Community Foundation presents REVEL 2011, their younger donor cocktail party at the Highline Ballroom Nov 9. A quintessential New York experience, the party brings together LGBT professionals and their friends for a night of exceptional goodwill and music. Built on the belief that philanthropy need not be constrained by age, REVEL empowers young donors to collectively make an impact in their community. This year's event will feature DJ Corey Craig at the turntables and an open-bar courtesy of Stolichnaya Vodka. Proceeds support the work of Stonewall to strengthen the LGBT community and its organizations.

The Hetrick-Martin Institute (HMI), the nation’s oldest and largest LGBTQ youth-services organization, celebrates the 25th Annual Emery Awards at Cipriani Wall Street Nov 10. This signature event ensures that the 2,000 lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning youth who pass through HMI’s doors every year receive the skills and support needed to succeed in life and reach their full potential. This year, HMI will honor Newark, New Jersey Mayor Cory A. Booker; Charles Fagan, EVP and Chief of Staff to Ralph Lauren; and Macy’s.

Don't miss the premier formal women's gala on the East Coast as the LGBT Center presents Women's Event 14 at Chelsea Piers Nov 12. The annual event unites leaders from the business, cultural and civic arenas for a fabulous night of cocktails, dinner, auction and dancing. This year the Center is thrilled to recognize out comedienne and actress Wanda Sykes with the Celebrity Activist Award; and Chely Wright, the first openly gay performer in country music, as the Community Award honoree. Proceeds will support the Center’s array of programs and services for lesbian, bisexual and transgender women.

GMHC presents Fashion Forward, a cocktail reception, luxury auction and runway presentation, at the Metropolitan Pavilion Nov 17. Hosted by Tracee Eliis Ross and Brad Goreski, this year’s designers include  Thom Browne, Marlon Gobel, Sally Lapointe, Zang Toi, Timo Weiland and VPL. Fashion Forward will also present Julie Macklowe with the inaugural Style Vault Award. Proceeds benefit the Gay Men’s Health Crisis.

Join God’s Love We Deliver for the 18th Annual Race to Deliver, a 4 mile run/walk in Central Park Nov 20. GLWD is the New York metropolitan area’s leading not-for-profit provider of life-sustaining meals and nutritional counseling for people living with life-threatening illnesses. This annual fundraiser is a symbol of the daily race to ensure that no person ever has to face the unthinkable combination of illness and hunger. Nearly 83,000 caring New Yorkers have participated with 5,000 more anticipated this year.

The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) invites you to OUTAuction 2011 at the Metropolitan Pavilion Nov 20. The 10th anniversary of the largest and most visible art auction event in the LGBT community celebrates established and emerging artists, as well as recognizing GLAAD’s Top 100 Artists and the OUT in Art Award recipient. Guests will enjoy hosted cocktails, great music, gourmet hors d’oeuvres and the chance to bid on more than 100 unique pieces of art. Past auctions have included works by Pablo Picasso, Herb Ritts, Steven Klein, Ryan McGinness, Wassily Kandinsky, Marc Chagall and many more.

On Dec 1 the Stonewall Community Foundation invites you to the Highline Ballroom for Stonewall Honors 2011, a cocktail reception, awards program, and dance party honoring the contributions of remarkable women—lesbian, bisexual, straight, transgender and queer. The evening begins with an elegant cocktail reception leading into the recognition program (emcee and entertainment to be announced).

The 23rd Annual Gypsy of the Year Competition, one of the most anticipated tickets of the fall season, plays the New Amsterdam theater Dec 5-6. New York’s most talented “gypsies,” chorus members from Broadway and Off-Broadway shows, join in a competition/variety show as six weeks of intensive fundraising to benefit Broadway Cares/ Equity Fights AIDS come to a close. The all-singing, all-dancing, all-dishing extravaganza is easily the biggest party in town!
