Gay folks have always been early adopters. We're known for setting trends, embracing new technologies, and loving media, especially the Internet. Christiane Arbesu embodies all those things. A former television producer who started her career at WNET/Channel 13 in New York City, she's always been interested in using media to tell a story. "Everyone has [a television], and working in TV and video has allowed me to broadcast these stories along with important information to a broad audience," she said. Arbesu has held programming positions at Lifetime Medical Television and Reuters Health, eventually becoming a senior producer at The Orbis Broadcast Group. She then spent ten years with MultiVu, PR Newswire’s multimedia and broadcast services division, building their reputation as a leading multimedia public relations content provider. Arbesu now heads up production as the Executive Vice President at NextWorks, a new form of content marketing company that creatively produces packages and delivers multiple forms of content on unique interactive platforms. What does that mean? It means Arbesu is creating something you're going to want. You just don't know it yet. –DN
