From art to nightlife, style to celebrity, few figures have had as much of an impact and influence on New York City as Andy Warhol. We all know his larger-than-life persona; next week, New Yorkers will get to see a different side of the man before he became the icon.
"Before They Were Famous: Behind the Lens of William John Kennedy" will make its NYC debut at Site/109 on Norfolk Street on the Lower East Side. The exhibition will feature rare images of and works by Warhol (as well as his contemporary, Robert Indiana). See below for details.
