Shamburger's CHKA (Chinese Hawaiian Kenpo Academy), the premier downtown Martial Arts school, offers its FREE weekly women's self-defense "SMASH" class for all women ages 14 and over. It's safe and fun! No experience or pre-registration necessary. Wear comfortable workout clothes, no street shoes on the workout floor. CHKA has been an East Village institution for 20 years, continuously offering its SMASH class as a free service to the women of our community for over a decade.
