In honor of Womens History Month, the Intrepid Museum introduces the free Tour Guide Talk Sally Ride: Trailblazing Astronaut that will run every Sat & Sun in March. Dr. Sally Ride, who passed away on July 23, 2012, broke barriers by becoming Americas first woman to travel into space on the Space Shuttle Orbiter Challenger in 1983. The interactive talk will celebrate her career with NASA and the legacy she left for young people in the fields of science and technology. This Tour Guide Talk is open to the public and free with the price of admission to the museum.
