"STATES," by London based photographer Jacob Love, is a project of landscapes and portraits and a work in progress inspired by the utopian scenes in the Jehovah's Witness magazine, "The Watchtower." Inverted landscapes depict the same continental landmass photographed in different physical states of being, suggesting that the only consistent truth is change. Figures in his portraits emerge from darkness re-enforcing the idea that to come out as queer is not a single act, but a continual process celebrating the notion of differentiation. "STATES" on view twenty-four hours a day in the street level Wooster St. Window Gallery located at 26 Wooster Street, New York City.
