Students will learn everything they need to know to create a piece of anthropomorphic mouse taxidermy, in the tradition of famed Victorian taxidermist Walter Potter. Anthropomorphic taxidermy is a practice in which animals are "humanized", with props, clothing, accessories, etc. Every student gets to design, create, and go home with their very own mount. The class covers all basic taxidermy techniques including sanitation, skinning, fleshing, and tail slipping to dry preservation, posing, and creating a form. All materials and a selection of props are provided. All animals are ethically sourced and disease free. LIMITED CLASS SIZE, TICKETS REQUIRED http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/392356 Email divya.does.taxidermy@gmail.com
