| | | 100 Women We Love: Class of 2009
(in no particular order, cause we love em' all!) Once again, we celebrate our favorite out and proud women. As difficult as it is to narrow it down to just 100, this
year’s eclectic list includes artists, athletes, club promoters, community organizers, entertainers, entrepreneurs, filmmakers, politicians and plaintiffs, who are making a difference in our world and the world at large. In honor of the 40th anniversary of the Stonewall riots, we dedicate this piece to those activists who fought for the rights of these 100 women and all our community, to do what we do, and love who we love, openly and honestly.
So here’s to the Class of 2009, IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER. If you don’t believe us, please note that Ellen is on the eleventh page of the piece and you know how much we love her.
