The “King of Pop” Michael Jackson suffered a heart attack yesterday. An hour after he was rushed by ambulance to the UCLA Medical Center, according to the Los Angeles Times, Jackson died at the age of 50.

Jackson was reportedly rushed to the hospital because he collapsed at his home in Los Angeles and paramedics were unable to revive him there.

Jackson, who still holds the Guinness record for “Most Successful Entertainer of All Time,” was in the middle of planning a series of comeback concerts later this year in London. Since he was acquitted of child molestation charges in 2005, the star was rumored to have emotional and financial troubles.

Jackson is survived by his three children: Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr.,, Paris Michael Katherine Jackson, and Prince “Blanket” Michael Jackson II.
