The original "Jersey Boy" Michael Longoria is celebrating the release of his solo broadway album Broadway Brick By Brick. The album, out May 6, was directed and arranged by Grammy winner John McDaniel, produced by Emmy winning producer Jeffrey Lesser and orchestrated by Jesse Vargas. Broadway Brick By Brick is a collection of Broadway classics with a Latin flair. The album chronicles Michael's journey to NYC, from struggling in Los Angeles as a Mariachi singer to achieving Broadway success in the big city. Join Michael in welcoming the release of his new album on May 2 & 3 at Joe's Pub!

Recognized as one of the major dance companies of Latin America, São Paulo Dance Company makes its Joyce debut with works showcasing the incredible dynamics, versatility, and passion of Brazilian dancers. The program includes Céu Cinzento, Clébio Oliveira’s 2015 work examining impossible love; Gen, Cassi Abranches’s 2014 work highlighting the transition from dancer to choreographer; Mamihlapinatapai, Jomar Mesquita’s 2012 work exploring a look shared by two people; and Gnawa, Nacho Duato’s 2005 work using the four basic elements to address the relationship between humans and the universe.

Dance to Unite presents the 3rd Annual Benefit: One Way or Another, featuring live music from Debbie Harry at Avenues: The World School, located in Chelsea at 25910th Ave, NYC, 10001. This year, Dance to Unite proudly honors Jenny Morgenthau, who recently retired after 32 years as the Executive Director of the Fresh Air Fund. As part of the celebration, students of Dance to Unite will perform to music icon and Blondie lead singer, Debbie Harry's biggest hits. Tickets can be reserved by making a $150 minimum donation per person at The attire will be business casual.

Art Miami, the preeminent presenter of contemporary and modern art fairs, expands its borders for a second year to New York City. Art New York will be joined by the debut of CONTEXT New York, and the two highly-anticipated exhibitions will showcase artwork from more than 175 galleries representing nearly 1,200 artists from 50 countries during the pinnacle of New York’s art and cultural season.
