Red Balloon is the finale of Circus in July, an act creation intensive led by Madeline Hoak (madelinehoak.com). Each artist has created a new, original solo act for this evening's performance: they are sensual, they are bold, they are charming!
You will be dazzled by aerialists, wowed by strong (wo)men and delightfully mystified by slight of hand! Performances by the outrageously stunning:
Heidi Lauren Duke (heidilaurenduke.com)

After a successful Valentines day dinner event, we are delighted to announce SUMMER SEDUCTION.
The best meals are always the ones that have a story and are produced by passionate people who have honed their craft. This seasonal 4 course menu created by chef Renee Blackman, Roosevelt Ceasar and Tariq Baker is inspired by flavors around the world. I invite you to enjoy a beautiful summer evening in the hamptons dining outdoors and socializing.
Lavish signature cocktails and Hors d'oeuvres will be served at 6:00pm and dinner will be served at 7:00pm sharp.
The 6th Annual New York City Poetry Festival will be held on Governors Island's Colonel's Row on July 30th and 31st, 2016. The Poetry Society of New York, producers of The Poetry Brothel and The Typewriter Project, once again invite attendees to come together for this free two-day festival to celebrate New York City's vibrant poetry community. The event includes over 75 poetry organizations and 250 poets on its three main stages; a Vendor's Village where local booksellers, artists and craft makers sell their wares; healthy and delicious food options; a beer garden sponsored by Brooklyn Brewery, poetry-inspired installation art throughout; the Ring of Daisies open mic; and, of course, the Children's Festival at NYCPOFEST, sponsored by Writopia Lab!

at East River Park, $20 per player for the entire season
To sign up for the season, like the Ladies Village Soccer page on Facebook and stay tuned for updates on game invites each week. Ladies Village Soccer is a great place to meet people, form friendships, and make real connections. You do not have to commit to every game, but we do want you to come OUT as much as you can and have fun! No experience necessary - We mix the teams with players who are experienced soccer players and those who just want an excuse to get all sweaty with some lovely ladies. For the newcomers to Ladies Village Soccer, come play your first game for free and hopefully you'll want to join us for the remainder of the season. The season fee is $20. Named after the New Jersey town where an apparition of the Virgin Mary allegedly appeared on the window of a house, Rachel Harrisonís room-sized multimedia work exemplifies a cross-disciplinary approach to making art.
