Major exhibition at The Museum of Modern Art examines the artist’s radical, innovative works. It will be on display from Saturday, March 26 until Sunday, July 24. The exhibition shows Edgar Degas, best known as a painter and chronicler of the ballet, at his most modern. Bringing new focus to his extraordinary and rarely seen monotype prints and their impact on his wider practice, Edgar Degas: A Strange New Beauty is the first exhibition in the U.S. in nearly 50 years to examine these radical, innovative works—and MoMA’s first exhibition devoted solely to the artist.

This summer The Farm Theater is pleased to present Padraic Lillis’ solo show, Hope You Get to Eleven, or What Are We Going to Do About Sally?, directed by Scott Illingworth and presented as part of the 8th Annual Planet Connections Theatre Festivity. Performances will be on June 23 at 7:30pm, June 25 at 5pm, June 29 at 7:30pm, and July 3 at 4:30pm at The Paradise Factory (64 East 4th Street between 2nd Avenue and Bowery).
