It’s all in the name. Like to draw while drinking? This is the place for you. Featuring hot models, Happy Hour specials and prizes. All skill levels encouraged to come. You’re encouraged to bring your own art supplies, but there are a limited number available at the venue.

This Thursday night weekly party in the West Village is for queers who want to throw it back in style, groove to awesome music together and get down. This means soul, Motown, good hip-hop, requests and an evolving set list by DJ Tikka Masala. Bargirls Dot and Booker keep the drinks rolling with Happy Hour all the way ‘til midnight. Young, fresh crowd and super cool vibe!

First Thursdays: Substance or Cholalicious. DJ ManiLa Ice provides the visuals and mans the DJ booth. For Substance, expect a mix of soul, electro, new wave and pop. Varied drink specials. Third Thursdays: Alotta Stuff Live Auction (8pm-midnight). Drag stars Alotta McGriddles and Thorgy Thor host a live auction of vintage treasures. They also raffle off jewelry, bar tabs, trinkets, etc.! DRAGnet (11pm). Watch amateur drag queens battle it out for a chance to compete in the annual “Miss Dragnet” competition. Hosted by Merrie Cherry with DJ Jessamess keeping you dancing. Fourth Thursdays: Do You Like Disco? DJ David Sokolowski turns Metropolitan into a disco paradise. 10am at South Street Seaport Museum, $125 for the session
The South Street Seaport Museum announces the Spring 2016 session of its educational children's miniMATES program for children ages 18 months – 4 years at the South Street Seaport Museum on Thursdays, April 28 to May 26, 2016, from 10:00am to 11:15am. Explore, play, and create! Through circle time, group activities, art projects, and creative play, children learn about boats and our Seaport environment while also developing their creativity, language, fine-motor skills, and awareness of others. Music, movement, stories, and sensory play are all part of the fun. Tuition: $125 for the session (10% discount for additional children from the same family). Family-level membership holders receive an additional $15 off total enrollment.

Major exhibition at The Museum of Modern Art examines the artist’s radical, innovative works. It will be on display from Saturday, March 26 until Sunday, July 24. The exhibition shows Edgar Degas, best known as a painter and chronicler of the ballet, at his most modern. Bringing new focus to his extraordinary and rarely seen monotype prints and their impact on his wider practice, Edgar Degas: A Strange New Beauty is the first exhibition in the U.S. in nearly 50 years to examine these radical, innovative works—and MoMA’s first exhibition devoted solely to the artist.

Producer/comedian Brandon Collins (Comedy Outliers) brings stand-up comedy to a local brewery in Long Island City! During this FREE stand-up showcase professional comedians will performing in an intimate setting while the host discusses the history of beer and dropping other bits of knowledge that they were not aware of before the show...which is a lot! Thursday, May 26th at 7pm Rockaway Brewery (46-01 5th St, Long Island City, NY 11101)! The show will include performances by Mike Recine (Conan), Jordan Temple (MTV), Subhah Agarwal (Comedy Central), Doug Smith (Montreal's "Just for Laughs") and more!

ArtsWestchester is exploring what it means to be a woman today. The arts organization has announced its 2016 spring exhibition, called SHE: Deconstructing Female Identity.
10am at American Museum of Natural History, $22+/$17-$22 senior & student/$12.50+ children
As you read this, nature’s most beautiful creatures are fluttering about in all their multicolored, spotted glory. Be near them! An annual favorite, this exhibit—featuring hundreds of butterfly specimens—has been running for 20 years. Ticket includes admission to the museum as well as the Rose Center for Earth and Space.

Join provocative host Andy Cohen in the Bravo clubhouse for shenanigans galore with celebrity and “Bravolebrity” guests. Now in its 13th season, the interactive show features guest interviews, caller questions and social media. Airs Sun-Thur nights.

Named after the New Jersey town where an apparition of the Virgin Mary allegedly appeared on the window of a house, Rachel Harrison’s room-sized multimedia work exemplifies a cross-disciplinary approach to making art.
