Seeking individuals of all backgrounds, sexual orientations, gender identities, shapes, sizes and colors for a one-day open photo shoot supporting Callen-Lorde Community Health Center! Photos will be used for a variety of marketing and outreach materials supporting the health and wellness of LGBTQ communities. All participants will also receive high quality head shots for your own personal use! Models needed for group, couple and individual portraits. No experience required! If you have a taste for adventure, a thirst for wild spaces or just want to improve your outdoor skills, sign up here! Learn how to thrive in the outdoors with camping basics and best practices, improve your knowledge of natural science and have fun with a bunch of other intrepid women. On this weekend camping workshop you’ll learn about the desert while hiking through it, share stories around a crackling campfire, and acquire useful skills that will transform the great outdoors into your own spectacular backyard. No prior camping experience is necessary, though some basic equipment is required. Camping equipment can be rented locally from outfitters.

Women’s “Get-Away” Weekend: Spend a weekend with the Desert Institute at Joshua Tree National Park where you can go to unplug, to get away, to learn new skills and to enjoy the company of other course participants. Trade in your computer, cell phone, Instagrams, clocks, schedules and work-jargon for an off-the-grid weekend with the girls – three days of pure unadulterated fun and education! Join Cynthia Anderson and Cassandra Davis on hikes, yoga practice, journaling, basic navigation and desert survival. This weekend of classes will be held at the Lost Horse Campsite, a beautiful location that is perfect for this program! Camping equipment can be rented from local outfitters
